Meet Ellie

Two days ago I adopted this little girl into my life. She's a ball of love and even more energy.

I had anticipated my life settling down; that did not happen. The past few months have been eventful and uneventful, overwhelmingly happy and miserably sad, unorganized, and neither here nor there. I can't remember where I've been and I'm not sure where I'm going, but I'm still here.

Fix My Bones

Yesterday was my 20th birthday, and while I was not at all excited to be leaving my teenage years behind, I do appreciate all the things those years brought to me- good and bad. I am thankful for the person that I have become, despite the flaws and uneven figures.

I spent the day with my two best friends, writing music, eating cupcakes, watching movies, reminiscing on our summers and discussing new projects and plans!

When you live in an ocean town, it is shrouded by mist and fog more often than not. Although it often makes for a neat photo effect, I certainly do not love the effect that it has on my hair!

My best friend, Adrienne ^ has a very artistic sense of style. The outfit that she's wearing is completely thrifted and altered by her, and is one of my favorites! There is nothing I love more than floral thrift store finds.
My skirt and necklace are from Forever 21, blouse is thrifted, and tank is from a clothing market in China!

Happy Birthday Robyn!

Last night Robyn had a few girls in for drinks and games to celebrate her 20th birthday. It's a switch-up from the large beach parties she usually throws, but we definitely brought in her new decade with a bang! It's got me thinking about my 20th birthday coming up in the next few days, and what I'd like to plan for my own! Any ideas?

Red and the Rain

I've been back from China for three days now, and happily welcoming the rain and the fog. This afternoon I went to visit Robyn during a slow day of work at the lighthouse. We caught up on our separate summers and made some photoshoot and blog plans.
