I've spent the last week looking around my room wondering how I'm possibly going to fit all of my clothes into the vehicle to move home! I've sifted through them and managed to fill three bags with things that I no longer wear and plan on donating, but it's so hard for me to part with clothing items!
Unfortunately, I won't have a ton of time in the next couple weeks to update with outfit posts, as a week from today is my last official day as an au-pair, and much packing, cleaning, and goodbyes are in store!
SO! I thought I'd leave you with a few of my favorite black and white shots from the photoshoot I modeled for in April! Enjoy!

Quebec City
My French family and I decided to spend the weekend in Quebec City, doing a bit of site seeing and shopping before I leave next month. I've been to Quebec City once before, but in the middle of winter, and this time around it was much easier to enjoy the scenery and the beauty of the quaint little spot. I adore the architecture and the history, and I can definitely see myself making a return trip!

Home, Here, and Him.
I have the notion that time is flying by, but simultaneously moving remarkably slow. I give complete credit for that notion to the fact that my sleep cycle is out of order, and as of lately my premeditated afternoon naps are the only things keeping me alive at all. I have a terrible habit of always wishing I were somewhere else instead of enjoying the present and fully living in the moment.
In a few short weeks I will be heading back to the Maritimes for my third move in two years, tracking down a job, visiting my friends and family, and spending late nights and warm afternoons with a certain someone before his band leaves to go on tour in August. A lot of plans have changed for the summer, but despite the bumps in the road- it's going to be one to remember.
I apologize for the lack of outfit photos and fashion type posts lately. The cold i've had for what seems like my entire life now(or maybe three months) seems to still enjoy attacking my immune system, and here in Canada the weather likes to downpour for weeks at a time and call itself Spring. In short, my spirits have been low and my hair has been messy.
However, I did find enough motivation this morning to march around the house and snap a few simple photos of some of the everyday things that I enjoy about my Montreal abode- enjoy!
thanks robyn!

Summer Bucket List
one. go camping
two. throw a birthday party
three. have a tea party picnic with friends
four. paint and re-vamp new bedroom
five. get one hundred blog followers
Just a few summer plans that have me crossing off days on my calender left and right. What is one thing on your summer bucket list?

Breakfast and Tea
It may just have something to do with the dismal, bleak weather we've been having, or perhaps that for the past two years around this very time I've packed up and moved myself somewhere new, but lately I've been consumed by the feeling of wanderlust. My heart only remains content for a paltry amount of time, and then I'm hit with the realization that I start merely existing in a certain place instead of really living.
Next month I'll be returning to my second home to spend the year enjoying the company of great friends and family, a handful of new projects, and strict allowances! (I'm saving for a whirlwind cross-country European tour!)
Until then, I'll continue to take advantage of all the wonderful opportunities at my fingertips here in Montreal, and cherish each and every moment I have left! Where did the year go?!
